Switch mode AC/DC power supplies are low profile

Available in 40, 60 and 150 Watt versions, the SC series of AC/DC converters from DT Electronics consists of low profile, low cost power supplies with wide range AC inputs. The units have heights of 25.4, 34 and 41mm respectively. The footprint of the 40 and 60 Watt versions is the industry standard 127mm x 76.2mm and for the 150 Watt model it is 203.2mm x 106.7mm. All SC series converters feature universal AC inputs of 85 to 264V. Output voltages are from 1.8Vdc to 48Vdc.

The 40 and 60 Watt versions are available in single or triple output models.

Typical inrush current is 36 Amps from a cold start at 25°C and efficiency is 70%. Regulation is ± 2% on single output models and on the lowest voltage rail of triple output models. Regulation for other outputs in between ± 2% and ± 7%, depending upon model.

The 150 Watt versions offer 4 outputs in U-channel format and have a typical inrush current of 30 Amps at 25°C and efficiency of 75%. Regulation is ± 2% on output one and ± 3% on other outputs.

Ripple and noise is a maximum of 1% peak-to-peak on all versions.

All SC series power supplies meet Class B EMC requirements and have global safety agency approvals including UL, CSA, EN and CE marking.
