DC/DC converters with industry standard footprints cut costs by up to 40%

Priced between 20% and 40% lower than comparable products, the CTC range of DC/DC converters from DT Electronics features industry standard footprints and ratings between 0.25 and 8 watts.
The through-hole mounting components are fully encapsulated in either dual-in-line or single-in-line packages and do not need additional heat sinks. Input voltages are 3.3, 5, 12, 15 or 24Vdc and there is a choice of single or dual output versions. Output voltages are 3.3, 5, 12, 15 or 24Vdc at ±5% accuracy. Both unregulated and regulated versions are offered. In the latter, load voltage regulation is ±10%. The maximum ripple and noise is 50mV peak-to-peak at 20MHz for the 0.25 Watt versions and 200mV for 2 Watt converters.
Standard components have IKV input/output isolation but 2, 3, 4 and 5kV versions are available for use in Telecom applications.
The efficiency of these miniature devices is up to 80%, depending upon the model, and all have an operating temperature range of -25°C to +80°C.
Popular types are available ex-stock and others have a maximum lead time of 3 to 4 weeks. All of these converters represent a cost-effective alternative to designing with discrete components.
