Evaluation kit for fast development of DC motor control systems
2006-03-29 New from DT Electronics, the ATAVRMC100 is a complete evaluation kit dedicated to brushless DC motor control. Suitable for sensorless or Hall effect sensor-based systems, the kit includes an evaluation board, a 3-phase BLDC motor and demonstration software. It allows users to quickly evaluate the capability of the AT90PWM3 microcontroller, supporting both in-system programming and chip emulation. The AT90PWM3 is a low power, 8-bit microcontroller from Atmel’s AVR family of devices. It is based on an advanced RISC architecture and integrates 8K Bytes of Flash, 512 Bytes of EEPROM and 512 Byes of SRAM. Peripheral features include three 12-bit, high-speed power stage controllers with 4-bit resolution enhancement, a 10-bit ADC, 10-bit DAC, programmable watchdog timer with separate on-chip oscillator, and four external interrupts. Interfaces include a programmable serial USART and master/slave SPI. The AT90PWM3 has low power idle, noise reduction and power down modes. It also features power-on-reset and programmable brown-out detection. The chip operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply over an extended temperature range of -40 to +105 degrees Centigrade. This development kit is available ex-stock from DT Electronics, order code ATAVRMC100.
